One of the most
beautiful spots in Le Marche. The ancient building was constructed in different
periods of architectural craftsmenship using the typical field stone of
the area. The house has to be restored using the old materials
(we are cooperating with constructors specialized in rebuilding and restoring
historic substance and can give reference of similar houses restored).
To the West it is overlooking the rolling hills of the wonderful Marchigiani
landscape with the highest mountains of the area (Monte Catria 1701 m,)
in the far distance. The property is in walking distance to the picturesque
village of Isola di Fano (shops, bank, restaurants, school etc.), yet it
seems secluded immersed into a fairytale landscape. Restoration will leave
it to the new owners to combine their own ideas of modern living conditions
with the traditional architecture and last but not least: properties of
this kind became extremely rare in Le Marche. The connections are
ideal: it is a 20-minute drive to the pretty bathing resort of Fano
with its safe sandy beaches, large fishing port, its antique markets, speciality
restaurants and cultural life, has much to offer. Fano was an important
Roman city on the Via Flaminia, the trade route connecting Rome with the
Adriatic coast. The surrounding area is interesting from a historical
and archaeological point of view..The airport at Ancona, with daily international
flights, can be reached in 30 minutes. As well as the airport of Rimini.
The nearest town is medieval Fossombrone (6 km) a lifely town with beautiful
shopping area, market, cinema, hospital, schools and lots of young people.
